If you have lost your organization's or company's password and know the email address that was used to set up your account, click here.
If you have lost your organization's or company's password and do not know the email address that was used to set up your account, write to now from your organization's/company's email account with the name of your organization as it appears on the Idealist site.
There are a few reasons why you may not be receiving daily updates.
No new listings match your search criteria; this includes the spelling or inclusion of a city name—only exact matches will be sent to you.
It is the weekend. Email alerts are only sent out Monday through Friday.
Your registration did not process. To check this, log in to your My Idealist account at: and click on "Email Me." You should see the word "ON" on the category line you want sent to you. If nothing is there, click on the category title to set your preferences. Make sure that you click "submit" at the bottom of the screen.
Idealist sends out thousands of emails each day to individuals who have requested information on newly posted opportunities, but sometimes our email gets labeled in the unsolicited category by the filters. If you think that our emails are being blocked from your address, or if you have suddenly stopped receiving our emails, we suggest the following remedies:
Contact your email or Internet Service Provider and request that all email be routed to your "IN" box, instead of your junk/bulk/spam folder.
Make sure to add to your address/contact/safe list. Our daily email alerts will always come from this address.
If you have chosen to have all filtered spam mail automatically deleted before you see it, you may want to change that setting and then check your junk/bulk/spam folder. Then, designate that all emails not be classified as spam.
